Bhatura Recipe - Chole Bhature Recipe, How to make bhatura INGREDIENTS (1 CUP = 240ML )

for Bhature Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 2cups
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon Eno (or ½ tsp baking powder/ tsp baking soda)
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar 2 teaspoons
  • Oil 2 tablespo

HOW TO MAKE THE RECIPE

Making dough

  1. First, mix all-purpose flour, semolina, and salt together in a large bowl.
  2. Now mix yogurt and oil
  3. Now keep mixing this mixture till the curd and oil mix completely in the flour.
  4. Now add ENO or baking powder to this mixture
  5. Now add ¼ cup of water and mix again.
  6. Start kneading the dough.
  7. Now knead the dough and make sure that the dough is soft.
  8. If you have used eno in this mixture, do not give rest to the dough and keep whisking continuously.
  9. On using ENO, you have to make Bhatura immediately and if you have used baking soda and baking powder, then you can use this mixture in a warm place and use it again after 2 – 4 hours.

How to make bhatura

  1. You can divide the dough into 8 parts so as to make medium-sized and large-sized bhatura 5 parts
  2. Now make the dough into a ball shape
  3. Now apply some oil on arrival and keep them covered
  4. Now add some flour and make them flattened
  5. Now roll them in round or oval shape
  6. Now fry them in oil or ghee.
